Active Tools was founded and registered in Denmark in 1996.

Established global headquarters in Hong Kong as Active Tools International (ATI).

Achieved first Tier-1 supplier validation with GM, followed by Daimler.

2006 - 2008

Became China's first portable air compressor manufacturer to obtain ISO/TS16949 certification.

Earned Tier-1 supplier certification for PSA, Nissan, Ford, and Renault.

Central hubs and warehouses were established in Bad Salzuflen, Germany (ATE), and Detroit, USA (ATUS) —managing business operations, technical support, and logistics for Europe and the North American Free Trade Area (NAFTA) respectively.

2009 - 2017

AirMan ResQ Tire Repair Kit

A manufacturing facility was established in Dongguan (ATDG), Guangdong Province, China as a production base.

Business offices were set up in Shanghai (ATSH), Tokyo (ATJ), and Seoul (ATK) to serve regional automakers.

The new factory in Taishan City (ATTS), Guangdong Province has been put into service, continuing to increase production automation.

2024

Cumulative air compressor shipments have reached 50 million units.

Jointly developed with BMW, the innovative snap-and-go design FlexFit revolutionizes tradition by completely eliminating connecting hoses and cables.
