So aside from mechanical failures, 27% of all roadside emergencies are tire related. In  the United States alone, approximately 7 tire punctures occur every second, resulting in 220 million flat tires per year.  Statistics also show that every driver will experience on average up to 5 flat tires in their life time.  So the likelihood of running into such a roadside emergency is very high.

As of 2009, China’s vehicle sales have surpassed the United States. In the past China’s automotive market place was considered to be a seller’s market. Now a days, the industry has matured, and shifted into a buyers market. The variety of choices has increased rapidly with more and more foreign car makers offering full lines of vehicles for all driving needs.

Since the demand for vehicles has risen so drastically in the last few years, China’s emerging auto industry is quickly maturing with each day that passes. OEM’s are already scrambling to find the most profitable supply chains to fulfill the increasing demands.

OEM’s are heavily reliant on advances in technology, efficient manufacturing capabilities, and a solid dealership network to cover these vast markets.

To be successful in these areas, OEM’s and their Dealerships must understand what drives consumers to buy your brand instead of your competitors.
